The Kempinski Hotel Adriatic is located in Savudrija, Croatia, by a private beach on the coast of Istria, five kilometres from the Slovenian border, and 45 kilometres from Roman remains at Pula and from Trieste and its port. It is 85 kilometres from Trieste Airport.

From Trieste Airport (TRS):

Getting there.
The hotel can arrange transfers on surcharge from the airport by limousine, helicopter or boat. The number 55 bus runs to Trieste city centre and the number 51 bus runs to Udine. Single tickets to Trieste cost 2.55 EUR. Atlas Express and Terravision run daily services from Trieste Airport to Slovenia's main coastal resorts. The number 10 bus runs every 20 minutes from the airport to Monfalcone train station. Single tickets cost 1 EUR. From Monfalcone, trains run to Venice and Udine. Taxis are available between 8 a.m. and midnight, and cost about 50-60 EUR to Trieste city centre. Prices are all subject to change.


Getting around. Trieste's public transport system includes buses, trams, and a funicular railway. Trains run from Trieste train station to destinations throughout Italy and into Slovenia. Coaches run from Trieste bus station to Croatia and Slovenia. Good bus services link the towns throughout Croatia and Slovenia. A car is useful for exploring further afield.
