Location.
Hotel Les Autanes is a traditional hotel set in a typical chalet building in the centre of Ancelle, located on the edge of Ecrins National Park. Grenoble - St.Geoirs Airport is 143 kilometres away and takes around three hours and 20 minutes by car.

Hotel Features.
The hotel features an indoor swimming pool covered by a removable roof which can opens up during the summer. The hotel also has a steam room, sauna, and spa tub. A lift connects the floors, and free parking is available for those arriving by car.

Guests can spend the evening with a drink in the bar before sampling the local Champsaur Valley dishes in Les Autanes Restaurant, a vaulted, informal dining room set in a refurbished 18th-century stable block.

The hotel is situated 4.5 kilometres from the ski resort of St Leger Les Melezes. The resort is set at an altitude of 1700 to 2515 metres, and comprises 52 ski runs, including seven black runs.

St Leger les Melezes, 4.5 kilometres from the hotel, has trails including 10, 20, 40 and 60 kilometre rides through woods and mountain paths.

Driving Directions

Getting there.
Train services run from the SNCF station in Grenoble to Gap, 19 kilometres away from the hotel. From Gap taxis can cover the rest of the journey.


Driving directions. From Grenoble follow the RN 85 to Gap. After Brutinel, turn left following signs to Ancelle. The hotel is in the main square of the village.
