Description
Situated in the Savoie region in Val Thorens, Europe's highest resort, the modern Residence Les Temples du Soleil is set amid five glaciers offering hiking, biking and summer skiing. The complex features 521 apartments all of which include living rooms with two sofabeds, vacuum cleaners, bathrooms with WCs, and fully-equipped kitchenettes with fridges, ovens and dishwashers. Televisions, towels and cleaning products are available for a fee.
The onsite pizzeria and bar serves a range of drinks, snacks and pizzas, and the residence offers an array of amenities including a mini-market and bakery, children's clubs, ski lockers, weekly cabaret and disco evenings and a covered car park. Sports enthusiasts can enjoy 300 kilometres of marked trails and access to the Val Thorens sports centre, 600 metres from the residence and one of the largest sports complexes in the French Alps. The resort ski lifts offer access for walkers and mountain bikers, with summer and glacier skiing available, subject to snow conditions. Guided trips on foot or by mountain bike are available daily though the Belleville Valley. The resort centre, shops and services are located 500 metres from the residence. Please note: For single week stays room keys can only be collected after 5 PM and departure is before 10 AM; for short stays arrival is after 10 AM from Sunday to Friday and Saturday after 2 PM, departure is before noon. Please notify the residence directly if you will be arriving late. Towels and television are not provided free of charge and can be hired locally.
Please note: Apartments do not receive a daily cleaning/maid service. On departure, all apartments should be left clean and tidy. Alternatively, an end of cleaning service is provided by the residence which incurs a fee payable locally. Guests can also purchase cleaning kits from reception.

Driving Directions
Taxis connect the airport with Chambery TGV railway station. There are trains to Moûtiers, the nearest train station, 37 kilometres from the resort. From Moûtiers, an I.T.V coach connection is available, as are numerous taxis. Driving directions: From Paris take the A 43 to Albertville, take the express road to Moutiers and then take the D 915 A to Val Thorens.
