Description
The Hilton Towers Mumbai is an ultra-modern high-rise hotel with its own huge shopping arcade, towering over the Arabian Sea in the city's business district. This 22-floor hotel features 575 guestrooms, all of which include air conditioning, satellite television, Internet connections and minibars. Guests can cool off in the outdoor pool, which overlooks the ocean below, or relax on loungers with a drink. For some extra pampering, the hotel houses a hair salon and a range of beauty services are offered on site. The hotel complex is home to the largest indoor shopping arcade in India, with 250 shops selling a variety of items ranging from jewellery to clothes and antiques. There are a number of dining options in the hotel, including Frangipani, a contemporary Mediterranean restaurant designed around a 'theatre of food' theme, with a wood-fired pizza oven and 'cold and hot stage', and India Jones, a South-East Asian restaurant with Oriental decor, serving Chinese, Thai, Japanese and Vietnamese dishes. The Palms is a buffet restaurant with theme dinners ranging from Egyptian to Mongolian flavours, and Verandah serves dishes from an exotic mezze buffet, with a variety of Mediterranean and North African specialities. The concierge can provide information on local sightseeing hotspots as well as making restaurant reservations and booking excursions. Attractions such as the Gateway of India and the Mani Bhavan Ghandi Museum can be found within four kilometres. Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (BOM) is 27 kilometres from the hotel, around one hour by car.

Driving Directions
A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost around 15 USD. The hotel can arrange transfers for a fee. Mumbai's red buses are one of the best ways to travel short distances in the city. Buses run at 20-minute intervals but are best avoided during rush hours. There is also a suburban train network, while metered black and yellow taxis and auto-rickshaws are also useful for short trips. Ferries shuttle between the Gateway of India and Elephanta Island daily except Mondays.
