Description
The Badia alle Grazie is an aparthotel set in a cloistered Cistercian convent with two hectares of parkland and situated four kilometres from Amelia in the Umbrian countryside. The two-floor country house features 16 apartments, all with traditional rustic style decor and light oak wood furnishings. All apartments have separate sitting areas with televisions, kitchenettes with cookware and refrigerators, work desks with Internet connections, and bathrooms with toiletries.
Guests can have a relaxing dip in the swimming pool, which has an adjacent barbecue area, and enjoy hydro- massage facilities. Ample terraces overlook the surrounding countryside and parkland. In the Badia Restaurant and Wine Bar regional Umbrian and Italian dishes and a selection of wines are served in an informal setting overlooking the swimming pool and gardens. Before or after dinner, guests can relax in the Mose room, which features a billiards table, armchairs, and an attractive fireplace. The Mercurio Room can be used for meetings or reading, with wireless Internet available for guests with laptops. Children will enjoy the playground, and plenty of hiking trails can be found in the surrounding parkland. Room service is available during limited hours and drivers will find secure parking. Local attractions include the town of Amelia, four kilometres away, the Sangemini thermal spa 10 kilometres away, and Marmore waterfall 20 kilometres away. Rome Fiumicino Airport is 120 kilometres from the apartments, with an approximate driving time of 90 minutes.

Driving Directions
There is an hourly express train service to Rome's Termini station. Trains connect from here to Orte or Terni station, 20 kilometres from the hotel. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs approximately 100 EUR. Driving directions: From Rome take the A1 to Florence, exit at Orte, head for Terni, exit Amelia, turn right to Montecastrili, Avigliano Umbro and then Acquasparta, then it's three kilometres to Foce.
