The hotel Riva del Sole is located on the south-west side of Lake Garda in the town of Moniga del Garda, Italy, 150 metres from the lakeshore and seven kilometres from the nearest train station, in Desenzano del Garda. The city of Brescia is 25 kilometres from the hotel.

Driving Directions

From Verona Airport (VRN):
Distance to Riva del Sole is 45 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes' drive.


Getting there.
Buses run from the airport to Verona's Porta Nuova Station every 20 minutes. Trains run from Verona to Desenzano del Garda every half hour and take 20 minutes. Alternatively a direct bus runs from Verona to resorts on Lake Garda. Taxis are also available at the airport.


Getting around.
Ferries run to towns and resorts around Lake Garda. Schedules are available from information and ticket kiosks. Buses link the towns along the lakeshore and other destinations in the region. A car is recommended for exploring further afield.


Driving directions. From the airport, follow highway SP37 in the direction of Tangenziale Est. Join the A4 and follow signs to Desenzano. Take the Desenzano exit and continue in the direction of Salò. On arriving in Moniga, turn right in the direction of Porto. Riva del Sole is 150 metres before the beach, on the left-hand side of the road.
