Location.
The Mahara Hotel is located on the west coast of Sicily in Mazara del Vallo, Italy, adjacent to a private beach. It is within 500 metres of the town centre and local fishing harbour.

Located in one of the richest archaeological areas of the world, the Mahara Hotel has been designed to reflect the diverse heritage of the region. Surrounded by palm trees, this modern, three- storey property combines Arabic and European detail. The front desk is open 24-hours with multilingual staff to help book transport and tours. A complimentary buffet breakfast is available each morning. Lunch and dinner are also served at the Ghibli Restaurant with fresh seafood, Italian dishes, and views of the hotel's enclosed courtyard. Expert Tip.In 1998, fishermen discovered the city's bronze statue, known as The Dancing Satyr, caught in their nets. Dating from as early as 300 BC, the statue was lost in a shipwreck off the coast of Mazara del Vallo. It is now housed in its own museum in Piazza Plebiscito.

From Birgi Airport (TPS):
Distance to the Mahara Hotel is 35 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes' drive.


Getting there.
Buses run from the airport to Trapani, from where connecting buses travel to Mazara del Vallo. Taxis are available from outside the terminal. The concierge can arrange transport to and from the airport.


Getting around.Mazara del Vallo is small enough to be explored on foot. It is connected to the rest of Sicily by a regional train service and buses. During the summer, Mazara is also connected to the island of Pantelleria and Hammamet, in Tunisia, by ferry.
