From Doha Internaional Airport (DOH):

Getting there.
A taxi service costs 15-30 QAR from the airport into central Doha. Orange and white metered taxis can be hired for lower rates outside the airport, but many will not use a meter and need to be negotiated beforehand. Prices all subject to change.


Getting around.
A car is recommended for exploring Doha. International licences are accepted for periods of up to seven days, but any longer requires a local driving licence.


Driving directions. Turn right at the airport roundabout onto Al Matar Street, heading north west. Turn left onto the B Ring Road. Turn left at the junction with Salwal Road. Turn right at the crossroads. Take the third left onto Al Sadd Street Turn right onto Jawaan Street for the entrance to the Grand Regency Hotel.
