From Basel Airport (BSL):
Distance to Dorint Hotel Basel is 6.5 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.


Getting there.
Take bus 50 to SBB railway station, and then bus 30 to Riehenring. The hotel is 20 metres from the bus stop. A taxi from the airport to the hotel costs 30 EUR. All prices are subject to change.


Getting around.
Basel has an extensive tram (light rail) and bus network. The bright green trams and buses are absolutely prompt, relatively inexpensive, clean, and very convenient. Each stop has maps of the public transport system and a listing of arrival times. Walking around the old town is also the best way to see the city, but there are a lot steep slopes, so it can get tiring.


Driving directions. From the airport, take the motorway direction Basel Nord. Exit Basel Nord/Trade Fair, and follow signs to Basel Nord until the Musical Hall. At the traffic lights, turn left into Schönaustrasse. The Dorint Hotel Basel is 30 metres on the left.
