Driving Directions
From Kiev Airport (KBP):
Distance to Hyatt Regency Kiev is 40 kilometres, approximately 40 minutes' drive.
Getting there.
A shuttle-bus runs from the airport to the centre of Kiev. Taxi desks are located to the left of the main entrance of B terminal and cost approximately 300 UAH to the hotel. Ask the taxi driver for the city centre, next to Saint Sophia cathedral. Prices are subject to change.
Getting around. Kiev is a big city with good public transport, including a metro system. Buses, trolleybuses and trams are popular and cheap ways to get around. Taxis can be ordered by phone or on the street. The official rate is about 1 UAH per kilometre. A good alternative to a taxi can be a private, non-metered car hailed in the street. These are cheaper, but negotiate the price beforehand, as many drivers do not speak English. Trains from the central train station in Kiev access most of the Ukraine. Prices subject to change.
